Reviews
- One of the final sides released on
Goldwax, it is nevertheless impossible to detect any detoriation or drop in
vocal quality between James Carr's perfoamnce here and on his debut singles.
So much for the "personality problems" he was supposed to have
undergone in the meantime! They may have caused embarresment in the front
office, and they may have made it difficult to actually get him into the
studio, but they certainly didn't affect his vocal skills once he was there.
This side is clear evidence of that fact.
