• I've always felt this side might have stood a better chance of wider recognition of its qualities if it had a different title. Songs in which the title isn't featured in the lyrics present problems for people knowing just what to ask for, (although that said, this factor didn't seem to harm the sales of Johnny Ace's 'Pledging My Love'), but either way, this is a beautiful record, and a fine choice with which to close this selection. It is a great pity that it didn't give James a chart entry of any kind since it is right up there alongside all his great sides in terms of musicality and conviction.
